Some girls need a man that’s going to help them, protect them, and make them feel safe. Some men need a girl that needs them - they want to be your hero, your protector, and your guide. A man like that will be far, far more attracted to a girl that really does need all the help and love he has to give than he will to a girl who can take care of herself perfectly well on her own.

Girls, do yourself a favor. If you feel weak, or helpless, or scared, or confused, or just like you really need someone, then don’t be shy about it. You have no idea how many men want a beautiful damsel in distress to save, and you’ll never know until you admit to yourself that you are that damsel and quit trying to pretend you’re stronger, smarter, and more capable than you really are.

It’s okay to give up, it’s okay to be weak, it’s okay to need help. To some of us, that makes you perfect.
